Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. (AFNA), a subsidiary of Ajinomoto Co., Inc., has announced the promotion of Dave Gardner to the position of president and chief executive officer. Gardner, who previously served as the chief supply chain officer, will
succeed Hiroshi Kaho. Kaho has been promoted to executive officer and executive vice president, chief human resources officer for Ajinomoto Co., Inc. Gardner has been with AFNA since March 2022, overseeing manufacturing and supply chain operations across the company's eight U.S. production facilities. Prior to joining AFNA, Gardner held leadership roles at Amy’s Kitchen, including chief operating officer and executive vice president of operations. AFNA is known for its frozen food brands such as Ajinomoto, Jose Ole, Ling Ling, and Tai Pei.
