MISC Group has named two new Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) carriers, Seri Dian and Seri Dayang, on May 7, 2026. These vessels are part of MISC's ongoing collaboration with SeaRiver Maritime LLC, a subsidiary
of ExxonMobil. Built by Hanwha Ocean Co., Ltd., the carriers feature advanced technologies like the Intelligent Control by Exhaust Recycling (ICER) system and an improved cargo containment system to enhance efficiency and safety. The naming ceremony, attended by representatives from ExxonMobil, SeaRiver Maritime, and other stakeholders, highlights MISC's commitment to operational excellence and safety, as evidenced by achieving two million safe manhours without any lost time injuries.
