The company plans to further increase production with a new facility in Stanton Springs, Georgia, expected to produce up to 300,000 additional units annually by 2028. The R2 is initially available in the Performance trim, priced at $57,990, featuring advanced driving assistance and a range of up to 330 miles. Rivian aims to gradually introduce more affordable trims, with the base model priced at $44,990 expected to be available by summer 2027.
