German manufacturer Nexat has set a new record in Brazil with its implement carrier during soybean harvesting. On March 23, the machine harvested 637.76 tonnes of soybeans from 158.16 hectares in 8 hours, achieving a capacity of approximately 80 tonnes per
hour. The record attempt utilized the Nexco combine module and an FD250 FlexDraper header from MacDon. The innovative design of the Nexco combine module, which uses a transversely mounted rotor, allows for efficient crop distribution across the full width of the machine. This design enhances crop flow and capacity compared to conventional combine harvesters. The record was set on the same farm where a previous record was achieved last year, showcasing the advancements in harvesting technology.
