What's Happening?
MacGregor has been awarded a contract to supply a comprehensive package of offshore and merchant deck machinery for ultra-large cable-laying vessels. These vessels will be constructed at Tersan Shipyard
in Turkey, with delivery scheduled for 2027. The contract was secured in collaboration with Nemo Marine and is part of MacGregor's first quarter 2026 orders. The specialized machinery package is designed to support complex operational requirements, including essential equipment for cable-laying activities and high-performance winches for vessel movement and mooring. Magnus Sjöberg, Executive Vice President of MacGregor's Merchant Solutions Division, emphasized the company's commitment to delivering high-quality, integrated solutions for the offshore industry.
