German Naval Yards (GNY), in collaboration with Swisship Yacht Projects and Pascoli International, has announced a new superyacht concept named 'KOA'. This 93-meter yacht is designed for the next generation of large-superyacht owners, featuring modern aesthetics and advanced hybrid propulsion. The yacht boasts a beam of 14.60 meters, a draft of 4 meters, and an internal volume of approximately 3,500 GT. The design includes a sleek, contemporary silhouette with straight window lines and floating glass-panel railings. The propulsion system is centered on a hybrid drivetrain with twin MAN 175D engines and a 450 kW PTO/PTI system, allowing for silent cruising at 11 knots and a top speed of 18 knots. A 3 MW Corvus battery pack supports various operational
modes, including silent maneuvering. The yacht's design also features a sunken Main Deck Aft pool with a glass floor, a beach club, and extensive guest amenities, including a spa complex and a private owner's suite.
