Projections from D1Baseball suggest Virginia Tech could be the No. 3 seed in the Starkville Regional, while Baseball America projects them in the Gainesville Regional. On3, however, views them as one of the final teams in, placing them in the Morgantown Regional. The official 64-team field will be announced on Monday at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
