Fincantieri has commenced the steel cutting for Crystal Grace, a new luxury cruise ship for the Crystal cruise line, at its Marghera shipyard. The vessel is set for delivery in spring 2028, with plans for two additional sister ships. The ceremony was
attended by key figures including Cristina Levis, CEO of Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group for Crystal, Luigi Matarazzo, General Manager of Fincantieri's Merchant Ships Division, and Marco Lunardi, Director of the Marghera shipyard. Crystal Grace will boast a gross tonnage of 62,000 tons and accommodate 650 passengers. Its interior design, crafted by international architectural firms, will feature premium materials and craftsmanship, focusing on maximum comfort. The ship promises a high crew-to-passenger ratio, ensuring personalized service, spacious guest areas, premium entertainment, and immersive itineraries.
