Devlan Daniel, a junior at Indian Hill High School, has been honored as the Gatorade Player of the Year in baseball. Daniel's outstanding performance led the Indian Hill Braves to a 21-5 record and the Division IV district finals. He achieved a batting
average of .436, hit four home runs, and recorded 20 RBIs and 35 runs scored. On the mound, Daniel maintained a 1.05 ERA over 26 innings, striking out 44 batters. Beyond his athletic prowess, Daniel is committed to Mississippi State and maintains a 3.84 weighted GPA. He is actively involved in various student groups, including the Partners Club, which fosters relationships between students with and without special needs, and serves on the Student Leadership Team and as a student ambassador.
