What's Happening?
Gotham FC, the reigning NWSL champions, is set to establish a new state-of-the-art training facility in Whippany, New Jersey. The facility will be located at the former Red Bull New York training center, which the Red Bulls vacated after moving to a new center in Morristown,
NJ. The new 27,000-square-foot campus will feature three grass fields, including one heated, a full-size indoor field, a gym, hydrotherapy room, player recovery room, lounge, and dining area. The project, designed by SHoP Architects, is expected to cost $35 million and is privately funded. Renovations are scheduled to begin later this summer and are expected to be completed by summer 2027.

Additionally, the investment underscores the growing recognition and support for women's sports, potentially influencing other clubs to make similar commitments.
What's Next?
