Rapper Lil Tjay, whose real name is Tione Jayden Merritt, was arrested in Florida in connection with a shooting incident involving Offset, a member of the rap group Migos. The incident occurred at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Lil Tjay's attorney, Dawn M. Florio, has publicly denied any involvement of her client in the shooting, stating that Lil Tjay has not been shot nor charged with any shooting. The Seminole Police Department confirmed that Lil Tjay was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and operating a vehicle without a valid license. Offset, born Kiari Cephus, was reportedly shot during a fight near the hotel valet and is currently in stable condition at Memorial Regional Hospital.
