Vanderbilt women's basketball head coach Shea Ralph has been recognized with multiple Coach of the Year awards following a successful season. Ralph led the Commodores to a 29-5 record and a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Her achievements include winning
the Coach of the Year Award from the Associated Press, WBCA, USBWA, and the Werner Ladder Naismith Women's Coach of the Year. In total, seven different outlets named Ralph their Coach of the Year. Under Ralph's leadership, Vanderbilt surpassed preseason expectations, achieving its highest season win total in program history and winning the most SEC games in a season with 13. The team finished second in the SEC and reached the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2009.
