Capella Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Pierre Chidiac as the General Manager of Capella Nanjing, a strategic move as the group continues to expand its presence across Asia. Chidiac, who brings over 15 years of experience in hotel operations
in China, will lead the team at Capella Nanjing, which is set to open in early 2027. The property is located near Changjiang Road, a historic area in Nanjing, and is designed by David Chipperfield Architects Shanghai. It features 185 guestrooms, including 30 heritage suites, and a 76-key residences project. Chidiac, an alumnus of Institut Vatel - International Hotel Management School, has previously held leadership roles at MGallery Hotel Collection, Sofitel, and Raffles hotels in China. His appointment is seen as a pivotal step for Capella as it aims to establish the Nanjing property as a premier luxury destination.
