The Peabody Awards has announced the addition of six new members to its board of directors, comprising five individuals from the television industry and one from the media sector. The new members include Peter Friedlander, global head of TV at Amazon MGM Studios; Katherine Pope, president of Sony Pictures TV; Ravi Nandan, partner and global head of TV at A24; and Amy Israel, president of television at North Road company, who will serve on the West Coast board. Additionally, Amy Entelis, executive vice president at CNN Worldwide, and Carolyn Ryan, managing editor at The New York Times, will join the East Coast board. Jeffrey Jones, executive director of the Peabody Awards, emphasized the importance of the board's strength and commitment in maintaining
the integrity of the awards while adapting to the evolving landscape of television, podcasts, radio, and interactive content.
