Times Square is set to debut its largest New Year's Eve Ball, known as The Constellation Ball, featuring 5,280 Waterford crystals. The ball spans 12.5 feet in diameter and weighs over 12,300 pounds, marking the ninth iteration since the tradition began in 1907. The new design includes round crystals with unique patterns and cuts, reflecting themes of 'Infinite Joy, Infinite Light, Infinite Beginnings.' The unveiling coincides with a $550 million revamp of One Times Square, which now includes a wedding chapel, candy emporium, interactive museum, and observation deck.
