Elementos has appointed Antonio Martín Sánchez as the General Manager for its operations in Spain, effective July 1, 2026. Sánchez, a chemical engineer with over 20 years of experience in mining and metals, will lead the company's initiatives in Spain and Europe.
His responsibilities include advancing the Oropesa Tin Project in Andalucía and aligning it with the Robledollano Tin Smelter, where Elementos holds a binding option for a 50% stake. Sánchez's previous roles include senior positions at Freeport McMoRan’s Atlantic Copper operations in Spain, where he focused on environmental outcomes and governance.
