French streaming service Deezer has reported that approximately 44% of its daily music uploads are fully AI-generated, equating to 75,000 tracks each day. Despite the high volume of AI-generated songs, these tracks account for only 1-3% of total streams
on the platform. Deezer has flagged 85% of these streams as fraudulent, leading to their demonetization. The company uses a proprietary AI detection tool to identify and manage AI-generated content, which has been in place since January 2025. Deezer's CEO, Alexis Lanternier, emphasized the importance of safeguarding artists' rights and promoting transparency in the music industry.
