The Durango Kennel Club held a dog show on May 17, 2026, in Farmington, NM, featuring a wide array of dog breeds competing for top honors. The event attracted 396 entries, with various breeds such as Pomeranians, Boxers, and Basset Hounds participating.
The Best in Show was awarded to CH Cimarosa’s Edge Of Glory, a Pomeranian handled by Curtiss Smith. The event also highlighted the participation of other notable breeds, including Labrador Retrievers, Vizslas, and Whippets. The show was judged by several experts, including Mrs. Nancy D. Simmons and Mr. Thomas Alexander, who evaluated the dogs based on breed standards and performance.
