The Manufacturing USA network has reported a significant investment of nearly $540 million in advanced manufacturing initiatives, resulting in over 900 research and development projects. This effort is part of a broader strategy to enhance domestic manufacturing capabilities,

The network, which includes 17 manufacturing innovation institutes and over 2,900 member organizations, has seen substantial co-investment from industry, state, and other non-federal sources, amounting to approximately $380 million, alongside $160 million in federal funding. The report highlights the network's success in bridging the gap between research and commercial manufacturing, with a focus on scaling technologies into cost-effective domestic production. Workforce development remains a core pillar, with over 150,000 individuals engaged in training programs and more than 17,000 certifications and apprenticeships completed.
