The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) has unveiled the shortlist for its 2026 Excellence Awards, which celebrate the achievements of public relations and communications professionals in the UK. This year marks the 42nd edition of the awards,
with 145 organizations and individuals competing across 33 categories. Notably, the In-House PR Team of the Year Award has been divided into two separate categories to recognize the best teams in the Private Sector and the Not-for-Profit, Public, or Charity Sector. Additionally, three new categories have been introduced: Change Communications campaign, Best In-House campaign, and Best Equity, Diversity and Inclusion campaign or initiative. The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on July 1, 2026, at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, with tickets now available for purchase.
