Cleaner Safer Group (CSG), known for its work with HETAS and Woodsure, has merged with the Building Compliance Testers Association (BCTA) based in High Wycombe. This merger brings together expertise in solid fuel, biomass, wood fuel quality, air tightness,
sound insulation, and domestic ventilation commissioning. The merger effectively doubles CSG's footprint in the built-environment sector. BCTA, which oversees ATTMA, SITMA, and the Building Performance Hub, will now expand its role within the newly combined group. Barry Cope, CEO of CSG, expressed pride in the merger, highlighting shared values of integrity and quality. Kaye Welfare, Chair of CSG, emphasized the merger's potential to offer greater support and improved services to the industry.
