Nik Dodani has been cast in the lead role for 'The Charm Offensive,' a romantic comedy film adaptation of Alison Cochrun's bestselling novel. The film, produced by Marginal MediaWorks, will explore the story of a tech billionaire who joins a reality dating show to improve his public image but ends up falling for one of the show's producers. The screenplay, written by Erin Williams and Shawn K. Jain, was recognized in the 2024 Desi List for outstanding unproduced scripts by South Asian writers. The project is being developed by producers Alex Liu and Leo Neri, known for their work on 'A Sexplanation.'
