The Genesee County Economic Development Center (GCEDC) is set to honor Liberty Pumps as its Economic Development Partner of the Year during its annual stakeholder luncheon on April 24. This recognition coincides with Liberty Pumps' 60th anniversary. Liberty Pumps,
a family- and employee-owned manufacturer, produces a variety of pumping systems for both residential and commercial use, with over 90% of its products manufactured in the United States. The company has significantly contributed to the development of Apple Tree Acres in Bergen, transforming it into a fully occupied manufacturing and logistics hub. Recently, Liberty Pumps completed a $13.5 million, 110,000-square-foot Materials Center in Genesee County, supported by GCEDC. The company employs approximately 330 people and distributes its products nationwide.
