Hyatt Regency Chicago, the largest hotel in Illinois, has announced the completion of a comprehensive $200 million renovation. This multi-year project has transformed all 2,032 guest rooms and suites, as well as the Regency and Crystal Ballrooms, and the Grand
Ballroom. The renovation, which began in 2013, included a $168 million refresh of the lobby and meeting spaces. The final phase of the renovation has introduced a reimagined Grand Ballroom with a 7,000-square-foot foyer featuring digital screens and a digital feature wall. The Grand Ballroom itself now boasts customizable LED ceiling panels and modern finishes, designed to accommodate large-scale events. The renovation aims to provide a cohesive and high-impact environment for meetings and events, reflecting modern design and functionality.
