Bungie has announced plans to address player complaints regarding the microtransaction system in its game, Marathon. The game, available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC, has faced criticism for its premium currency system, Lux, which requires players
to purchase multiple bundles to afford certain in-game items. In response, Bungie will soon release a patch to increase the amount of Lux provided in the $10 bundle from 1,100 to 1,120, allowing players to purchase items like runner skins without needing additional purchases. Players who previously bought the $10 bundle will receive a credit of 20 Lux. Bungie is also considering further improvements to the game's purchasable cosmetics to enhance player satisfaction.
