M&S is set to open a new, larger food store on Tottenham Court Road in London next week, as part of its ongoing expansion strategy in the capital. The new location, which will be 45% larger than the current store, is situated at 15 to 17 Tottenham Court Road and
will open on June 9. This move is part of M&S's broader investment program aimed at enhancing its food retail footprint across London. The new store will feature an in-store bakery, a coffee counter, and a Mai sushi counter, offering a wider range of M&S Food products. This expansion is expected to create over 150 jobs in the area. Additionally, M&S is planning to open new food stores at Bell Green Retail Park in Sydenham and The Elephant Development in Elephant and Castle later this year. The retailer is also investing in upgrading its existing stores, including its flagship on Oxford Street and other locations in Southwark and Richmond.
