The Highland Golden Baton Relays and Invitational meet, held in Pocatello, saw Rigby High School's athletes deliver outstanding performances. The Rigby boys' team scored 127 points, significantly outpacing Highland's 78.5 points. The Rigby girls also
excelled, finishing with 158 points compared to Highland's 83. Notable performances included Owen Golding of Rigby winning the 100-meter race, beating the defending 5A state champion Zyan Crockett. Rigby's Jonas Porter and Vincent Kisner also performed well in the 1,600-meter race. In the girls' events, Abigail Sondag of Thunder Ridge won the 100-meter race with a personal best, and Ashlynn Richardson won the 400-meter race. The meet highlighted Rigby's depth and talent across various track and field events.
