The Fashion Pact and Fashion for Good have launched the Circular Fiber Collective (CFC) to promote textile-to-textile (T2T) recycling and next-generation fibers. This initiative aims to address the barriers to scaling T2T materials in the fashion industry,
such as fragmented demand and limited financing. The CFC will focus on coordinating actions across the value chain, including aggregating demand signals and supporting policy development. The initiative is expected to increase the share of T2T materials in global fiber production to 8% by 2030, according to estimates from Boston Consulting Group and Fashion for Good.
