Resolute Mining has obtained a mining permit for the Doropo Gold Project from the Council of Ministers in Côte d’Ivoire. This permit, valid for 14 years with potential extensions, is a significant step
for the company, which aims to become a leading multi-asset gold producer in West Africa. The Doropo project, located in Côte d’Ivoire’s Bounkani Region, covers an area of 400km² and includes primary deposits and several mineralized trends. The permit area also contains unexplored soil geochemical anomalies and geophysical structures. Resolute Mining plans to increase its annual gold production to over 500,000 ounces by 2028. The company intends to use its existing financial resources to advance the project to construction by the first half of 2026, with initial gold production expected in the first half of 2028.
