Alma Metals has initiated a significant drilling campaign at its Briggs Copper Project in Central Queensland, aiming to expand and upgrade the resource estimate in preparation for a Prefeasibility Study.
The campaign includes 1,250 meters of exploration drilling to test copper anomalies and 12,500 meters of infill drilling to convert resources from inferred to indicated categories. The project, expected to be completed within 12 to 15 months, seeks to increase the total contained copper beyond 2 million tonnes. The Briggs site also contains significant resources of molybdenum and silver. Managing Director Frazer Tabeart emphasized the importance of this milestone in advancing the project towards development.
