Volatus Aerospace and Sentinel R&D have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the development of a Canadian interceptor Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) platform. This partnership aims
to enhance the Canadian aerospace sector by combining Sentinel's expertise in UAV platform engineering and advanced composite structures with Volatus's capabilities in systems integration, mission systems development, AI-enabled autonomy software, and operational testing. The collaboration aligns with Canada's Defence Industrial Strategy, focusing on strengthening sovereign industrial capacity in key technology domains. The initiative will explore scalable production opportunities within Canada, including at Volatus's Mirabel aerospace manufacturing facility.
