Mansfield High School has announced the induction of 13 alumni athletes into its Sports Hall of Fame. The inductees, who span seven decades of athletic achievement, include former captains, state and league champions, all-stars, and school record holders.
The ceremony is set to take place on May 16 at the Easton Country Club, beginning with a cocktail reception followed by a banquet. The group of inductees features four sets of siblings, including a pair of twins, and honors two athletes posthumously. The sports represented include ice hockey, gymnastics, track and field, tennis, lacrosse, baseball, and softball. Notably, Donald Hill and Roger Buck, both baseball players, will be honored posthumously, with their awards accepted by family members. The event underscores the strong community ties and the legacy of athletic excellence at Mansfield High School.
