The New Jersey Devils recently surprised their new general manager, Sunny Mehta, with a nostalgic gift—a Starter jacket he wore as a teenager. This gesture took place before his introductory press conference at the Prudential Center. Mehta, who grew up
in Wyckoff, New Jersey, and played high school hockey, was hired by the Devils on April 16. Prior to joining the Devils, Mehta spent six seasons with the Florida Panthers' front office, including three as the assistant GM and director of analytics.
