The Detroit Pistons' public relations team has been awarded the 2025-26 Brian McIntyre Media Relations Award by the Professional Basketball Writers Association (PBWA). This award is given annually to the NBA media relations staff that exemplifies professionalism
and excellence. The Pistons' PR team, led by Chief Communications Officer Kevin Grigg, has been recognized for fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation with journalists. Their efforts have facilitated accurate and in-depth coverage of the team, contributing to the Pistons' positive media presence. This is the first time the Pistons have received this award, which has been presented since the 2006-07 season.
