What's Happening?
Krafton India has released its December 2025 anti-cheat report for Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), revealing that 578,476 accounts were banned for cheating. The majority of bans were due to game data
manipulation and unauthorized cheat software. The report also detailed the distribution of cheating across player ranks, with Ace players being the most affected. In addition to the anti-cheat measures, Krafton India launched the BGMI 4.2 update, introducing new game modes and features.
Why It's Important?
The report highlights the ongoing challenge of maintaining fair play in online gaming, a critical issue for game developers and players alike. By enforcing strict anti-cheat measures, Krafton aims to preserve the integrity of the gaming experience, which is essential for player retention and satisfaction. The significant number of bans reflects the scale of the problem and the company's commitment to addressing it. This action may enhance the game's reputation and attract more players seeking a fair gaming environment.
