Cassius Marsh, a former Seattle Seahawks edge rusher, has officially retired from the NFL, choosing to end his career where it began. Marsh, who was a fourth-round draft pick by the Seahawks in 2014, returned to the Virginia Mason Athletic Center to announce
his retirement. During his time with the Seahawks, Marsh recorded three sacks, 55 tackles, and 10 tackles for loss over three seasons. After being traded to the New England Patriots in 2017, Marsh played for several teams, including the San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, and Chicago Bears. His last active season was in 2021 with the Bears. Marsh expressed that he needed time to heal from the end of his playing days before making his retirement official. In addition to his football career, Marsh has pursued a passion for trading card collecting, co-owning a shop called Cash Cards Unlimited in California.
