Mickey Andrews, a legendary figure in Florida State football history, is recovering from a fall at his home. The 83-year-old former defensive coordinator, who served under head coach Bobby Bowden from 1984 to 2009, broke his femur and injured his elbow
while protecting his grandchild. Andrews is currently undergoing physical therapy twice a day at a local rehabilitation center. Known for his toughness, Andrews is expected to make a full recovery. During his tenure, he coached numerous All-Americans and contributed to Florida State's national championships in 1993 and 1999.
