What's Happening?
The Petoskey hockey team has achieved significant recognition in the 2025-26 All-Big North Conference hockey teams. The team, known as the Northmen, had a historic season with a record 22 wins, finishing as runners-up in the Big North Conference (BNC).
This success was highlighted by the inclusion of six Petoskey players in the All-Big North Conference teams. Senior Madden Pateman and junior Anderson Ward were named to the first team, with Pateman setting records for points and goals in a single game and surpassing the 100-point mark in his career. Ward also achieved over 100 points this season. Additionally, seniors Chase LaFaive and Evan Williams were named to the second team, while Eli Brinkman and Nick Timm received honorable mentions. The team's performance was marked by strong contributions from both forwards and defensemen, showcasing a well-rounded roster.
