The Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) has revealed the locations of five new franchises set to participate in the 2026 season. The newly announced teams are the Carolina Blaze, Chicago Bandits,
Portland Cascade, Texas Volts, and Utah Talons. These teams will join the previously announced Oklahoma City Spark. The season is scheduled to commence on June 9, with the Utah Talons hosting the Chicago Bandits, the Carolina Blaze facing the Portland Cascade, and the Oklahoma City Spark playing against the Texas Volts on opening night. The Chicago Bandits will play their home games at The Stadium at the Parkway Bank Sports Complex in Rosemont, Illinois, a location with a rich history in softball. The Portland Cascade will host games at Hillsboro Ballpark in Oregon, while the Utah Talons will play at Dumke Family Stadium at the University of Utah. The Carolina Blaze will be based at Duke University Softball Stadium in Durham, North Carolina, and the Texas Volts will play at Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas. AUSL Commissioner Kim Ng emphasized the significance of these locations, citing their strong softball traditions and fan engagement.
