Laborde Products has powered the newbuild M/V Beth Williams, a twin-screw towboat constructed for Maritime Partners at FMT Shipyard & Repair in Harvey, Louisiana. The vessel is equipped with Mitsubishi Tier 3 S6R2 main engines, each rated at 803 horsepower,
and two Laborde-supplied generator sets to support onboard electrical loads. The design focused on aligning engine speed, horsepower, and electrical capacity with inland towing work, ensuring practicality and ease of support. The construction emphasized durability, accessibility, and long-term service, with the goal of enabling boat crews to operate confidently and efficiently.
