The mobile ordering system allows guests to order F&B items from any location within the resort, enhancing convenience and reducing the need for staff intervention. This system not only improves guest satisfaction but also alleviates staff workload, allowing for a more efficient operation.
Why It's Important?

By increasing F&B revenue and reducing labor demands, the company demonstrates how technology can be leveraged to achieve business growth and improve service delivery. This move is particularly relevant in the current economic climate, where businesses are seeking ways to maximize revenue streams and streamline operations. The success of this initiative could encourage other hospitality businesses to adopt similar technologies, potentially leading to widespread changes in how services are delivered in the industry. The integration of mobile ordering systems also reflects a growing trend towards contactless and convenient service options, which have become increasingly important in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
What's Next?
Following the successful implementation of the IRIS mobile ordering system at two of its properties, Marc & Rose Hospitality plans to extend this technology to three more locations. This expansion is expected to further enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency across the company's portfolio. As the hospitality industry continues to evolve, the adoption of digital solutions like mobile ordering is likely to become more prevalent. Other hotel groups may observe the outcomes of Marc & Rose's initiative and consider similar implementations to remain competitive. Additionally, the ongoing development and refinement of mobile ordering technologies could lead to even more sophisticated solutions that further integrate with hotel operations, offering new opportunities for revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
