What's Happening?
Zeo Energy Corp., a Florida-based solar installer, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Creekstone Energy to explore solar-plus-storage solutions for a data center campus in Millard County, Utah. The project aims to provide baseload energy generation for Creekstone's Gigasite development, which began construction in December 2025. Zeo is considering using either Heliogen's concentrated solar power technology or conventional photovoltaic solar paired with energy storage. The initiative is part of Creekstone's broader plan to develop a 10-GW hybrid-generation data center campus integrating natural gas, solar, and renewable energy. The site is strategically located near the Intermountain Power Project, offering significant grid connectivity.
Creekstone has also signed an MOU with EnergySolutions to evaluate nuclear capacity options for future energy needs.
