Blizzard Entertainment has released a new cinematic trailer for Hearthstone's upcoming expansion, Cataclysm, set to launch on March 17. The expansion introduces a new world threat with the return of Deathwing, who succeeded in his Cataclysm. Players will encounter new challenges as they face massive Colossal minions and the Herald keyword, signaling the end of Azeroth. To combat these threats, players must rally the five dragonflights and utilize new cards and the Shatter keyword. Executive Producer Nathan Lyons-Smith emphasized the goal of keeping the game interesting and evolving the meta with this new chapter.
