What's Happening?
Porsche has launched the Cayenne S Electric, a new mid-range variant in its all-electric SUV lineup. Positioned between the entry-level Cayenne Electric and the top-tier Cayenne Electric Turbo, the Cayenne S Electric offers a system output of 400 kW,
which can increase to 490 kW with Launch Control. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. It shares a 113 kWh gross battery with its counterparts, providing a WLTP combined range of up to 653 kilometers. The battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in under 16 minutes at a compatible fast-charging station. The Cayenne S Electric features permanent magnet synchronous motors on both axles and uses direct oil cooling on the rear motor. The vehicle is visually distinguished by model-specific front and rear aprons in Volcano Grey Metallic and 20-inch Cayenne S Aero wheels.
