JW Marriott Costa Elena Resort & Spa, the first all-inclusive resort under the JW Marriott brand, is set to open in fall 2026 in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Located within the exclusive Costa Elena community, the resort spans 3,000 acres of protected tropical
forest and is designed to offer a luxurious and environmentally conscious experience. The resort will feature 415 rooms, including the Griffin Club, a 45-room hotel-within-a-hotel concept offering enhanced privacy and exclusive amenities. The resort's design incorporates traditional Costa Rican and indigenous architectural elements, using natural materials to blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. Guests will have access to a 44,000-square-foot pool complex, 11 restaurants and bars, a spa and wellness center, and a variety of recreational and meeting spaces.
