Soules Kitchen, based in Tyler, Texas, is broadening its product offerings by introducing two new refrigerated product lines: Protein with Sauce Meal entrees and Street Eats. According to Michael Pierce, head of marketing at Soules Foods, the company
aims to provide convenient, high-protein meal options that are easy to prepare. The Protein with Sauce Meal line includes options like garlic and herb chicken and orange sesame chicken, each offering 18 to 21 grams of protein per serving. The Street Eats line features food truck-inspired meals such as street taco chicken with cilantro lime crema, providing up to 24 grams of protein per serving. These new products are available at regional Kroger, Costco, and Food Lion locations, as well as nationwide at Walmart stores, with plans for further retail expansion.
Why It's Important?
The introduction of these new product lines by Soules Kitchen reflects a growing trend in the food industry towards convenient, high-protein meal solutions. As consumers increasingly seek quick and nutritious meal options, companies like Soules Kitchen are responding by offering products that cater to these demands. This expansion not only enhances Soules Kitchen's market presence but also aligns with consumer preferences for meals that are both easy to prepare and nutritionally beneficial. The availability of these products in major retail chains like Walmart and Kroger indicates a significant potential for market penetration and consumer reach.
What's Next?
Soules Kitchen plans to expand the retail availability of its new product lines, potentially increasing its market share in the refrigerated meal sector. As the company continues to innovate and introduce new products, it may influence competitors to enhance their offerings in the high-protein, convenient meal category. The success of these new lines could lead to further product development and diversification, as well as potential collaborations with other food brands to expand their market footprint.
