Volkswagen Group of America has introduced the 2027 Volkswagen Atlas, marking the second generation of this mid-size SUV. The new model features a modernized and more premium interior, highlighted by a 15-inch touchscreen and ambient lighting that changes
color based on temperature adjustments. The Atlas is powered by an updated EA888 turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine, delivering 282 horsepower. The vehicle also includes a new multi-function knob on the center console, which can adjust volume and drive modes. Standard features have been upgraded to include a power liftgate, rear sunshades, and front and rear park distance control. The Atlas continues to offer a nine-speaker base sound system, with a 14-speaker Harman/Kardon system available on higher trims.
