What's Happening?
Abrams has announced the creation of a new imprint, ABRAMS Well, which will focus on the wellness category. Led by VP and editorial director Holly Dolce, the imprint plans to publish five to six titles annually, starting in spring 2027. ABRAMS Well aims
to build on the success of previous bestsellers and will feature fully illustrated titles across various wellness topics, including food and drink, women's health, longevity, fitness, career, and relationships. The imprint's spring list includes titles such as Jess Damuck's Green Goddess and Heng Ou's The Second Spring.
Why It's Important?
The launch of ABRAMS Well reflects the growing interest in wellness and self-care among consumers. By focusing on illustrated titles, Abrams is tapping into a market that values visually engaging content alongside practical advice. This move not only diversifies Abrams' publishing portfolio but also positions the company to capitalize on the increasing demand for wellness-related literature. As wellness continues to be a significant trend, the imprint could attract a wide audience seeking guidance on maintaining vitality and resilience throughout their lives.
