What's Happening?
The Hilton Global Foundation has announced its largest annual grant allocation, committing $5.4 million to 18 nonprofit organizations worldwide. This funding aims to support initiatives that expand career opportunities, enhance community resilience, and address food insecurity and waste reduction. In the Americas, beneficiaries include Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, which will develop a mentoring program, and the WASH Foundation in Florida, which will continue providing mobile shower services for the homeless. Other U.S.-based recipients include DC Central Kitchen and the National Down Syndrome Society. Internationally, the grants will support projects in regions such as Asia Pacific, Europe, and Africa, focusing on vocational training,
food waste reduction, and job placement for individuals with disabilities.
