Alex Duong, a comedian and actor known for his roles in 'Blue Bloods' and other television series, has died at the age of 42. Duong was diagnosed with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer affecting soft tissue, last year. He underwent
surgery to remove a malignant growth that was impacting his vision. Despite treatment, Duong was hospitalized with septic shock and passed away at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, California. His passing was announced by friends who had previously organized a GoFundMe to support his family during his illness. Duong is survived by his wife and daughter, and a celebration of his life is being planned.
